PLAYERS OF URARTU FC RETURNED FROM NATIONAL TEAMS09/09/2021
During the international break, 9 players of Urartu FC were invited to the national and youth teams. We have summed up the results of the performances of our players during the international break.
ARMENIAN NATIONAL TEAM RECEIVED 2 POINTS IN 3 MATCHES
In the qualifying group J of FIFA World Cup 2022, 3 matches took place. Joaquin Caparros from Urartu FC invited Arsen Beglaryan and Anatolii Aivazov to the matches with the national teams of North Macedonia, Germany and Liechtenstein. Both goalkeepers in these matches did not receive playing time. Anatolii Aivazov was in the bench for the matches with the national teams of North Macedonia (0-0) and Liechtenstein (1-1), and Arsen Beglaryan was in squad list in the match with the German national team, which ended in a 6-0 victory for the Germans. After 6 rounds, our team is in the 2nd place with 11 points.
NAREK GRIGORYAN SCORED AND MADE ASSIST
The matches of the 2nd and 3rd round were held in the 8th group of the qualifying round of the European Under-21 Championship. The Armenian U-21 national team at home won over Faroe Islands U-21 national team 2-0. The score was opened by Narek Grigoryan, and the second goal was scored by Urartu FC player, temporarily playing for BKMA, Mikayel Mirzoyan. Narek Aghasaryan and Sergey Mkrtchyan also took part in this match. Tigran Ayunts was in bench. In the match of the 3rd round, the players of our youth team held an away match against the Ukrainian U-21 national team and lost 2-1. This time Narek Grigoryan became the author of the assist. Narek Aghasaryan and Sergey Mkrtchyan also took part in the match. The Armenian U-21 national team has 3 points after the 3rd round and takes the 4th place.
ARMENIAN U-19 NATIONAL TEAM HAS LOST IN 2 FRIENDLIES
During the international break, the Armenian U-19 national team also held friendly matches. Our youths met twice with the Lithuanian U-19 national team and lost 4-0 and 2-0. Three players of Urartu FC were invited to the national team: Erik Simonyan, Hamlet Sargsyan and Ruben Abrahamyan.
RWANDAN NATIONAL TEAM OF SALOMON NIRISARIKE STARTED UNSUCCESSFULLY
The Rwandan national team of Salomon Nirisarike began their journey in the qualifying round of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Rwanda lost 1-0 to Mali in the first round and played draw 1-1 with Kenya in the second round. Salomon Nirisarike fully participated in both matches.
The Haiti national team of Jonel Desire held two friendly fixtures, first with the national team of Bahrain, then with Jordan. In the first match, Haiti lost 6-1 to Bahrain team. Desire took part in the entire match. In the second match, Haiti won a 2-0 lead over Jordan. In this game, the forward of Urartu FC became the author of the goal.
